Egypt Van Life
Four time-capsule camper vans, and a site that drives them.
Egypt Van Life rents four restored campers from 1979 to 2008 and sets up private evenings in the canyon and on the Nile. The site opens on a split photo, sends two vans driving off with their wheels turning, and lets you spin each van in 3D and step inside.
What we built
- 01A split-screen opening whose two photos part as two vans drive off, wheels turning
- 02Every van in 3D, built in Blender: drag to turn it, press Enter and the camera flies inside
- 03A night-blue road where the vans roll past with your scroll
- 04A brass zipper that opens between sections
- 05A tiny steering-wheel cursor that steers with your mouse and your scroll
- 06Polaroid galleries with handwritten captions
- 07Every booking straight to WhatsApp, with no forms to fill
- 08One typeface and an earthy palette, carried across the whole site
